Band Biography. This is an American rock group that was formed in 2007. The group was the brainchild of Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay and Zen Tricksters members. At first, they were named Kettle Joe’s Psychedelic Swamp Revue. After a while, they changed it to Donna Jean and the Tricksters. In 2008, the band released its first self-titled album.

Keith & Donna is an album by Keith Godchaux and Donna Jean Godchaux.Their only studio album as a duo leading their own band, it was released in 1975 on the Round Records label. Produced as a vinyl LP, it has not been released on CD.

The Godchaux's joined “The Grateful Dead” in 1971 and were band members through March of 1979. In the mid-70's, Donna Jean also toured with the “Jerry Garcia Band,” and the band, “Keith & Donna.” A vocalist and songwriter, her songs were recorded with all three bands.
In 2007, the band was originally made up of Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay (formerly of the Grateful Dead) and members of the Zen Tricksters. Donna Jean, a beautiful Southern girl from Muscle Shoals, takes centre stage as its lead singer and songwriter. She’s responsible for bringing a soulful and powerful voice to the mix.
