Born in Ann Arbor Michigan on May 25 th 1946, Don developed a fascination and love for music an early age. His first instrument was a Silvertone Hawaiian steel guitar, purchased for him by his parents. Soon after he began to study the Steel guitar his attention turned toward Rock and Roll.

1 de jun. de 2018 · Don Swickerath has kept in contact with Iggy over the years, and when he had ‘The Iguanas’ caps made, he sent one to Iggy. “He’s a lucky guy to be alive, and he is also one of the smartest guys I know,” Swickerath said of his old bandmate.
