Set in the 1950s, Dog Days of Summer tells the story of a young boy named Daniel Lee Haggerty (played by Colin Ford) who is spending his summer vacation in a small town in Georgia. Daniel is a shy and introverted child who struggles to fit in with the local kids and make friends.
