Diga is an album by the Diga Rhythm Band, a percussion-based music ensemble led by Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart and by Zakir Hussain. It was released by Round Records as a vinyl LP in 1976. It was remixed and released on CD by Rykodisc Records in 1988.
Diga, by the Diga Rhythm Band, was originally released on The Grateful Dead’s label in 1976, was the first collaboration between Mickey Hart and Zakir Hussain, and can be seen as the first step on the road to Planet Drum. Diga is a classic world-music album in its own right, with special guest Jerry Garcia on two tracks.

Mickey Hart (Michael Steven Hartman, 11 de septiembre de 1943) es un músico estadounidense. Es popular por haber sido baterista de la banda de rock psicodélico Grateful Dead. Fue miembro de la banda desde septiembre de 1967 hasta febrero de 1971, y de octubre de 1974 a agosto de 1995.
