"Did Ya" is a great song and was a single they put out from this EP but it didn't really go anywhere. "Gotta Move" is a live version of a 64 Kinks song, "Days" is a re-recording of a Kinks song from 1968, "New World" and "Look Through Any Doorway" are new songs (I think, don't quote me on it) and nothing too interesting, especially the very weird electronic experiment of "New World" which ...
10 de feb. de 2007 · This EP was very promising and made me anxious and excited about a new Kinks album. Unfortunately, the new album, Phobia from 93, was the worst Kinks album in decades. But the five songs on this EP were very good indeed, my favorite songs being Did Ya and Dave’s Look Through Any Doorway. The last great thing The Kinks did.
I think "Did Ya" better fits here, since it was released in 1991, two years before "Phobia," but it's included as an official "Phobia" bonus track, so I guess it can go there too. The is the last of my Kinks stray tracks albums. But it isn't the last of Kinks stuff that I plan on posting, since they're one of my very favorite musical groups.
