16 de may. de 2001 · And the logos on the sleeve sure reminds me of an album released by some people called: Beck, Bogert and Appice… The album consists of blues-rock songs with throw-away lyrics (Blood from a stone, Everybody’s Comin’, Boys night out etc). This is the album you give to your dad, instead of getting him the new Clapton album…
30 de nov. de 2017 · I didn't know that Rick had gone the route of Jeff Beck and used the talents of Bogert and Appice (Beck, Bogert, Appice) for his own. I was pleasently surprised by this CD and upset it took me a decade to figure out it existed. Some of the other reviewers seem overly critical of a CD that I've been replaying alot lately.

Genau genommen in das Jahr 1973, als sich Jeff Beck, Tim Bogert und Carmine Appice anschickten, mit einem Power-Trio à la Cream die Rockwelt aufzumischen. Wie ehedem prangen drei große Buchstaben in einer eigenwilligen Typografie am Coverkopf, anstelle eines "B"s für Beck nun ein großes "D" -- für Rick Derringer. Kein schlechter Deal.
