Dennis Leslie Elliott (born 18 August 1950,) is a British musician and artist, who was the original drummer for the rock band, Foreigner. He played with the band from 1976 until leaving between 1991 and 1993. He went on to become a sculptor.
Foreigner is a British-American rock band formed in New York City in 1976 by guitarist Mick Jones, vocalist Lou Gramm, drummer Dennis Elliott, keyboardist Al Greenwood, bassist Ed Gagliardi and multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald, the last of whom was also a founding member of King Crimson.
Today, Dennis Elliott – now retired from the music business and answering a new calling as a wood sculptor – seems reluctant to re-live all this, but recalls that his working life was simpler on the group’s earlier albums.

This past Wednesday, August 2, another original member–drummer Dennis Elliott–reunited with Jones at the band’s August 2 concert at the Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Fla. The band’s hit-packed set included “Cold as Ice,” “Double Vision” and “Urgent.”.
