Dennis Leslie Amiss MBE (born 7 April 1943) is a former English cricketer and cricket administrator. He played for both Warwickshire and England. Amiss is known for scoring the first ever century in ODI history, which was also his debut match.
Dennis Amiss was a top order batter who played for England and Warwickshire from 1966 to 1977. He scored 11 Test hundreds, including two against West Indies, but struggled against Australia and was a pioneer of ODI cricket.
