Del Amitri are a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Glasgow in 1980. Best known for their single "Nothing Ever Happens" which reached No. 11. in the UK and their 1995 single "Roll to Me", which was a top 10 hit in Canada and the United States, they have released seven studio albums, five of which have reached the UK top 10.
Del Amitri es una banda de rock británica formada en Glasgow, Escocia, en 1982. Fue fundada por su vocalista y bajista Justin Currie después de poner un anuncio en una tienda de música en busca de músicos. Su formación inicial estaba formada por Currie (bajo y voz), Iain Harvie (guitarra), Bryan Tolland (guitarra) y Paul Tyagi (batería).
Del Amitri have been announced as very special guests of the mighty Van Morrison at his summer headline show at Sandringham Estate on Friday 25th August 2023. Tickets go on general sale next Friday (March 10th) at 9am.
