13 de oct. de 2021 · Dee Pop, quien fuera batería de la banda neoyorquina de post-punk Bush Tetras, ha fallecido durante la noche del pasado 9 de octubre a los 65 años de edad. Pop, cuyo nombre real era Dimitri Papadopoulos , se incorporó a Bush Tetras en 1979 junto a Laura Kennedy, Cynthia Sley y Pat Place.

Born in 1956, Dee Pop has cited Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Ringo Starr, Charlie Watts, and Keith Moon as some of his heroes growing up, but it was Tommy Ramone who would influence him to start playing despite not having any formal training.
