Deborah Kaplan (born November 11, 1970) [1] is an American screenwriter and film director. Early life. Kaplan was born and raised in Abington, Pennsylvania. [1] . She went to Abington Senior High School, which is the school her movie Can’t Hardly Wait is based on. Kaplan attended the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University (NYU).
Deborah Kaplan is a filmmaker who co-wrote and co-directed Can't Hardly Wait, Josie and the Pussycats, and Leap Year. She also created and directed Liza on Demand and Mary + Jane, and was married to actor Breckin Meyer.
