I was expecting the same thing with Deadlock. Here’s the thing: Deadlock isn’t a good or even above-average action movie. But it is surprisingly watchable. It is Bruce’s “best” film of 2021, but is that really saying much? Deadlock is Die Hard at a factory with Bruce as the bad guy and Patrick Muldoon of all people as the hero.
