  3. Delisle Harper was born in Barbados on November 20th, 1942. Harper first gained public recognition due to his role as bassist in the British rock group known as Gonzalez, formed in 1970. Harper joined Stealers Wheel in late 1972, replacing bassist Tony Williams.
