More recently purchased the " Light of the Spirit" and was very disappointed with the choppy feeling, the pieces did not seem as full or rich as I had first heard so long ago. This performance Daylight Moonlight: Kitaro Live in Yakushiji has the qualities of the earlier Kitaro I so enjoyed.

Unlike the multi-ethnic 8-piece orchestras featured on his previous concert videos (1990's "Kojiki - A Story in Concert", and 1994's "An Enchanted Evening"), the Yakushiji concert finds him backed by by only four musicians- all of them from Kitaro's homeland of Japan.
