David Peter Renwick ( REN-wick; [1] born 4 September 1951) is an English author, television writer, actor, director and executive producer. He created the sitcom One Foot in the Grave and the mystery series Jonathan Creek. He was awarded the Writers Guild Ronnie Barker Award at the 2008 British Comedy Awards .
David Peter Renwick (born 4 September 1951) is an English television writer, best known for creation of the sitcom One Foot in the Grave (1990) and the mystery series Jonathan Creek (1997). Before beginning his full-time comedy writing career, he worked as a journalist on his home town newspaper, the Luton News.
