David Lee Roth is an American rock singer. Known for his wild and energetic stage persona, he was the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Van Halen for three stints: from 1974 to 1985, during 1996, and from 2006 to when they disbanded in 2020. He has also had a successful solo career, releasing numerous RIAA-certified Gold and Platinum albums.
David Lee Roth (født 10. oktober 1954 i Bloomington, Indiana) er en amerikansk sanger. Han var frontfigur i rockegruppa Van Halen , hvor han var med fra 1972 til 1985 og igjen fra 2006 til 2020. Roth har også hatt en solokarriere, og kjente sanger fra denne perioden er «Just a Gigolo» og « California Girls », begge fra EP -en Crazy from the Heat ( 1985 ).
