David “Frankie” Toler June 28th 1951 – June 4th, 2011. David “Frankie” Toler´s breakthrough came in the 1970s when he appeared on Dickey Betts & Great Southern’s album, Atlanta’s Burning Down.
David "Frankie" Toler died at a hospice care in Bradenton, Florida on June 4, 2011, after a long illness following a liver transplant at the age of 59. In 2012, the Allman Brothers started their own music festival, The Peach, which features many associated acts and many genres in addition to two Allman Brothers performances.
