Hace 4 días · Ian Campbell sang Beggin’ I Will Go in 1969 on the Music for Pleasure album Ian Campbell and the Ian Campbell Folk Group with Dave Swarbrick. He noted: In the Middle Ages beggars formed a much larger part of our population, and begging could be a very respectable calling.

We had all independently heard Peter Knight play and decided to give him a try. He had worked round the clubs with Bob Johnson, a guitarist and singer, but also had a classical background which had been subsequently overlaid with a strong Irish influence.
