Original drummer Dave Munden (born on 2 December 1943) died on 15 October 2020, at age 76. [14] In 2021, Chip Hawkes, Rick Westwood, Mick Clarke, Jodie Hawkes and Richard Marsh were still performing live as The Tremeloes on the UK nostalgia circuits, [15] whilst in 2022, Chesney Hawkes joined his brother Jodie as a member, becoming the band's singer for a series of dates.

Back in 2012, during a Sensational 60s Experience tour, Dave spoke to Andy Howells of Entertainment South Wales and remembered the chart-making days of The Tremeloes.
Dave Munden, the original drummer and frequent lead singer for the British beat group the Tremeloes, best known for their hit covers of “Do You Love Me,” “Here Comes My Baby” and “Silence is Golden” in the 1960s, died October 15, 2020. His death was announced on the group’s Facebook page. Munden had been in ill health in recent years.
