Darrell Verdusco. KBC Band (also sometimes referred to as The Kantner Balin Casady Band) [1] [2] was formed in 1985 by former Jefferson Airplane (later Jefferson Starship) members Paul Kantner ( guitar and vocals), Marty Balin (vocals and guitar) and Jack Casady ( bass ).
Artist biography Darrel "Pelican" Verdusco. Since 1993, Darrell "Pelican" Verdusco has been the drummer and backup singer for Starship. He has taken his "big beat" virtually around the world with Mickey Thomas, having played concerts in such places as Costa Rica, Japan, Australia, China, Singapore, and Malaysia, as well as every state in the USA.

In 1995, Darrell Verdusco replaced Moran on drums. [13] [14] Sanders, Slais and Haskett also left in 1995, with Phil Bennett taking over on keyboards. [15] [14] Tamelier was replaced by Erik Torjesen in 1996, who performed with the group until 2000 when he was diagnosed with cancer (he died the following March). [16] .
