The entire supporting cast is excellent (especially Elizabeth Pena, Danny Aiello) and the effects are excellent and appropriately disturbing (no CGI, all in-camera). My only gripe is the casting of Tim Robbins in the lead, who was good yes but I felt didn't hit every single high note and feels a bit goofy at times.
