About — Dan Molad. Producer and musician Dan Molad has spent most of his music career working alongside other artists. Most notably, he’s the drummer and producer of Lucius and Coco, and has produced for the likes of JD McPherson, Pavo Pavo, Here We Go Magic, and others.
Lucius is an American four-piece indie pop band. The group was founded in 2007 by lead vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, joined by drummer Dan Molad, guitarist Peter Lalish, and, formerly, multi-instrumentalist Andrew Burri. [1] Originating in Brooklyn, the band relocated to Los Angeles in 2015.

Coco—the project of Maia Friedman, Oliver Hill, and Dan Molad—began as an experiment of sorts; three friends writing songs for nothing other than the ritual of doing so. “There’s a mutual admiration and trust among us,” the band shares. “It allows a ‘first thought best thought’ mentality.”
