10 de nov. de 2016 · The presence of guest stars Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Mark Knopfler helped raise his profile, but Guy provided all the necessary firepower to make this a defining moment in his career, playing and singing with passion, pride and fury. The album was the first of several for Guy to win both Grammy and W.C. Handy (Blues Music) awards.
Their strength is aided in no small part by a powerhouse rhythm section comprised of Chicago blues bassist Greg Rzab and former Little Feat drummer Richie Hayward. The heavyweight guest-list — Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler — doesn’t detract from Guy, but instead underscores his inimitable talent.
