John Mayall es un cantante, instrumentista (especialmente, guitarrista) y compositor británico de blues y pop-rock. Precursor de la invasión del blues inglés junto a Alexis Korner. En 1955 fundó su primer grupo, The Powerhouse Four; y posteriormente su más famosa banda: The Bluesbreakers, en la que contó con la colaboración de guitarristas como Eric Clapton, Peter Green y Mick Taylor.
