Butch Trucks, John Snyder Croakin' at Toad's is a live album by jam band supergroup Frogwings . The group's sole release, it was recorded at Toad's Place in New Haven, Connecticut and The Wetlands in New York, New York, and was released on CD in 2000 by Butch Trucks ' label Flying Frog Records.
The following year, the group released their only album, Croakin' at Toad's, recorded live at Toad's Place in New Haven, Connecticut, and released on Butch Trucks' Flying Frog label. Frogwings also performed at the First Annual Jammy Awards that year, with Susan Tedeschi as vocalist.

Frogwings, originally put together by Butch Trucks (legendary drummer and founder of the Allman Brothers Band) in May of ’97 as a side project, played a handful of Northeast shows this past year and the result is Croakin' at Toad’s releasing October 3rd on Flying Frog Records.

18 de may. de 2009 · 'SongLines' is what I'd would recommend...Check "FrogWings-Croakin' at Toads Place". That one has Jimmy Herring too,along with John Popper,and Oteil Burbridge,Butch Trucks and Marc Q. Killer stuff IMO!

They call themselves Frogwings, and their new CD is Croakin’ at Toad’s. Frogwings could be described as a kind of offshoot of the Allman Brothers Band, with founding member Butch Trucks on drums, and the current percussionist and bassist from the Allmans, Marc Quinones and Otiel Burbridge, also among the ranks of the Frogwings.
