Cranbourne (/ ˈ k r æ n b ɜːr n /) is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 43 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Casey local government area. Cranbourne recorded a population of 21,281 at the 2021 census.

Cranbourne Gardens is recognised as a site of State significance for plant and wildlife conservation, home to over 25 endangered or rare and threatened species. Completed in October 2012, the Australian Garden was transformed from a sand mine and scrub to a botanic garden of international standing.
Cranbourne is a large suburb located in Melbourne's outer south-east between Dandenong and Tooradin. While suburban housing developments characterise the Cranbourne of today, the original town had a long history, having first been settled in 1836.
