Craig Mackinlay JP (born 7 October 1966) is a Conservative Party politician and businessman. Since May 2015, he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for South Thanet . Initially a member of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), Mackinlay served as deputy leader of UKIP from 1997 to 2000 and as acting leader of UKIP in 1997, [3] before joining the Conservative Party in 2005.
