In 1971, he formed Bedlam, but abandoned this project to produce singles such as “Dance with the Devil”. He later formed Cozy Powell’s Hammer, which broke up in 1975. Then he joined Rainbow.

Colin Flooks, známý jako Cozy Powell ( 29. prosince 1947, Cirencester, Anglie – 5. dubna 1998) byl britský rockový bubeník. Svou hudební kariéru začal ve skupině The Sorcerers v roce 1965. V roce 1971 vstoupil do Jeff Beck Group se kterou nahrál dvě alba, potom hrál sólově a založil skupinu Bedlam.
Cozy Powell, egentlig Colin Flooks, (født 29. desember 1947 i Cirencester i Gloucestershire, død 5. april 1998 ved Bristol) var en britisk trommeslager.. Han startet karrieren på 1960-tallet i The Ace Kefford Stand.Andre grupper var Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Michael Schenker Group og Whitesnake.Han ga ut et album sammen med Keith Emerson og Greg Lake, som en annen P i ELP enn Carl Palmer.
