Storia. Il duo, composto da Kevin Godley e Lol Creme, si è formato dopo lo scioglimento della pop band 10cc nel 1977. Nel 1979 il duo ha diretto il video del proprio singolo An Englishman in New York.Da quel momento hanno lavorato alla direzioni di videoclip musicali per altri artisti come Ultravox, The Police, Duran Duran, Herbie Hancock, Sting, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Wang Chung.
Een bijzonder album. Ook al vond ik 10cc indertijd geweldig en wist ik dat Godley & Creme hun eigen weg gingen om de "gizmo" te ontwikkelen, ik kende het driedubbele album "Consequences" niet. De gizmo was een soort effectapparaatje dat je op de snaren van een gitaar kon bevestigen, waardoor je allerlei geluiden met een gitaar kon produceren.

Bevor Godley und Creme 10cc in den 70er Jahren verließen, schufen sie mit Consequences ein Triple Album (!), das damals bei den Kritikern durchfiel und durch seine ungewöhnliche Struktur (teils Musik, teils Hörspiel) sowie den anspruchsvollen Preis auch den wohlwollendsten Fans (mir zum Beispiel) alles abverlangte.

Consequences är den brittiska duon Godley & Cremes debutalbum. Den gavs ut 1977 som en trippel-LP, men kom året efter även i två olika nedkortade versioner.. Duon, bestående av före detta 10cc-medlemmarna Kevin Godley och Lol Creme, hade redan i början av 1970-talet uppfunnit en gitarreffektapparat, den så kallade gizmotronen, och använt den på flera av 10cc:s låtar.
