This double LP neatly bundles each side of each of Johnson's Twinight 45s, from the heavily-sampled grunts on "Different Strokes," to the ghetto-conscious "Concrete Reservation."

This collection gathers both sides of his fifteen 45's of Chicago soul recorded over four years on the Twinight records label. From the heavily sampled “Different Strokes” to the plaintive “Is It Because I'm Black” this is an essential double LP delight from the always excellent Numero Group.
