Curtiss Maldoon was a folk music duo from England, formed by Dave Curtiss and Clive Maldoon (born Clive Skinner). Beginnings with Bodast. They first began working together in the band Bodast in 1968 which also featured Steve Howe ( Yes, Asia, GTR) on guitar and Bobby Woodman Clarke on drums.

In 1967, Mick Farren launched his first rock band, the Social Deviants with himself as vocalist, pianist and songwriter, plus Pete Munro (bass guitar), Clive Muldoon (guitar), Mike Robinson (guitar), and Russell Hunter (drums). After Muldoon and Munro left the band, Sid Bishop (guitar) and Cord Rees (bass) joined up, and the name was shortened to the Deviants.

The Social Deviants were founded by singer/writer Mick Farren in late 1966 out of the Ladbroke Grove UK Underground community, featuring Pete Munro on bass, Clive Muldoon on guitar, Mike Robinson on guitar, and Benny (surname unknown) on drums. This group played at UFO in Tottenham Court Road and opened the Alexandra Palace Love-In festival.
