Climax Blues Band en 1974. Climax Chicago Blues Band est un groupe britannique de rock qui s'est formé vers la fin de l'année 1968.Les premiers membres étaient les guitaristes Derek Holt et Pete Haycock, le claviériste Arthur Wood, le bassiste Richard Jones, le batteur George Newsome et le saxophoniste Colin Cooper.. En 1970, le groupe changea son nom en Climax Blues Band.

The Climax Blues Band’s single “I Love You,” was released on their 1980 album Flying the Flag. The track, following the earlier success of “Couldn’t Get It Right,” reached No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 by June 1981 and spent a notable 27 weeks on the chart.
