Cliff Lake is best used for kayaking, paddle boarding and the like. There are nesting raptors (eagles and ospry), deer, the occasional moose, and migrating elk in the fall and spring. Beautiful turquoise colored lake due to talc bottom in shallow areas. There are NO stores or gas within 15 miles.
This well-marked and maintained trail takes you to a series of beautiful lakes. Starting near Trapper Springs Campground at the Courtright Reservoir, this trail will take you along a creek, past a series of smaller lakes to Cliff Lake. Cliff Lake is a great place for camping or to day-hike to if you are backpacking campsite is further away.
