City Island is its own little world in the Bronx. It has fantastic views of the bay including Manhattan, wonderful restaurants and an interesting little museum. The main street, City Island Avenue is where all the shops, galleries and restaurants are located. On a warm summer day, it is a nice place to visit and just relax.

A quaint seaside escape, City Island feels like no other place within the city limits. The Bronx fishing village is full of yacht clubs and waterfront restaurants. It’s popular with visitors during the warmer months for its laidback vibe, fresh seafood dining options and range of activities—including scuba diving.
13 de jul. de 2022 · Believe it or not, my go-to City Island spot isn’t one of the finer dining restaurants. The place that holds my heart, that was my first stop when I moved back to NYC after a stint in California (despite it being a bit chilly in October and not peak time on the island), is halfway down City Island Avenue, with cafeteria-style seating and a view of the sun setting on the water.
