Citizen Smith is a British television sitcom written by John Sullivan, first broadcast from 1977 to 1980. It starred Robert Lindsay as Walter Henry "Wolfie" Smith, a young Marxist "urban guerrilla" in Tooting, south London, who is attempting to emulate his hero Che Guevara.

When a well-dressed man in a Rolls Royce arrives at the house Wolfie assumes he is a council official come to complain and launches into a tirade but soon changes his tune when the man turns out to be an art dealer prepared to pay five hundred pounds for the slab.
