Roomful of Blues is currently an eight-piece unit led by guitarist Chris Vachon and featuring long-time tenor and alto sax player Rich Lataille. In 2010, singer Phil Pemberton took over the vocal duties, replacing Dave Howard.

Chris Vachon is the lead guitarist and leader of the band. He has lived through good and bad times (economically) with the band. But he perseveres, forges ahead and believes in better time coming.
They hired Chris Vachon. Vachon was one of the young guns on the Rhode Island scene having made his name as guitarist Thom Enright’s partner in The Spotfinders, one of the more successful blues-based bands at the time.
