He is best known as a guest vocalist on many albums by the Alan Parsons Project including The Turn Of A Friendly Card.He is also a notable producer and has produced albums by Scottish band Runrig amongst others. In the 1970s he released three solo albums Home Of The Brave (1975), Looking Over My Shoulder (1978) and White Trails (1979).
