John Christopher Ethridge (February 10, 1947 – April 23, 2012) was an American country rock bass guitarist. He was a member of the International Submarine Band (ISB) and The Flying Burrito Brothers, [3] and co-wrote several songs with Gram Parsons.
Chris Ethridge is a director of feature films and short films and music videos, including an authorized adaptation of Stephen King's "Survivor Type". He has won awards for his work on "Attack of the Morningside Monster" and "Haven's End", and is developing his next project, a feature-length dramatic action/thriller.
Chris Ethridge, 65, died at a hospital of complications from pancreatic cancer. He was the Flying Burrito Brothers' original bassist. His later work included touring with Willie Nelson's band.
