I had the distinct honour and pleasure to spend a day with Chris in his hometown of Meridian, Mississippi interviewing him for my biography of The Flying Burrito Brothers. Everywhere we went in that town Chris was greatly warmly with a "Hey Chris!" A real southern gentleman.
