Dr. Chris Ethridge has lived in Jackson, Mississippi since early childhood. He attended Baylor University and Mississippi College Prior to Medical School at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, graduating in 1978. Dr. Ethridge’s specialty training includes Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

I had the distinct honour and pleasure to spend a day with Chris in his hometown of Meridian, Mississippi interviewing him for my biography of The Flying Burrito Brothers. Everywhere we went in that town Chris was greatly warmly with a "Hey Chris!" A real southern gentleman.
