Chris Chibnall is a good writer. Broadchurch was fantastic and he wrote some really good Doctor Who episodes in the past like The Power of Three, The Hungry Earth, and The Time of the Doctor. However, the moment he became a show runner, it’s like his talent was thrown out of the window and instead he made boring plots, bland characters, and horrible lore.
