Choate Rosemary Hall (often known as Choate; / tʃ oʊ t /) is a private, co-educational, college-preparatory boarding school in Wallingford, Connecticut, United States. Founded in 1890, it took its present name and began a co-educational system with the 1971 merger of The Choate School for boys and Rosemary Hall for girls.
We meet 100% of demonstrated financial need, and we encourage any family who may need assistance to apply for financial aid. Choate’s financial aid budget for the 2023-2024 school year was $14.9 million, with awards to families ranging from $2,000 to full tuition.
