I actually know the reviewer and talked to her about this. She didn’t take her daughter with her to the shop, she was picking up the pizza for herself but asked about dairy in the dough to see if it would be safe to give to her daughter too. The man immediately started in on her and when she started to tear up, made fun of her for getting upset.

Newman (1937-) depicts a dreamlike, abstract composition of aggressive waves of blue enveloping a beaming sun, multicolor rays of light enrapturing the viewer. A celebrated painter and printmaker, Newman attended the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio where he received a BFA in painting in 1961.
