There´s nothing wrong with the material on "Cheap Thrills" though and if you want a short introduction to how some of Frank Zappa´s most accessible tracks sound this is a good place to start (just keep in mind that there´s much more to Zappa than the material on this compilation). Cheap Thrills is the second studio album by American rock band Big Brother and the Holding Company, issued by Columbia Records in 1968. Cheap Thrills was the band's final album with lead singer Janis Joplin before she left to begin a solo career.
