So, I watched it once. Charlie Utter's character was frail and out of place, compared to his previous appearances. Spoilers - Charlie met a lackluster end. I get that the actor was getting on in age, as was Ian Mcshane. To me, the movie didn't really "put an end to the series" like it was intended. I love the series and own the 3 seasons on dvd.

Maybe “Charlie Utter”? He was a normal, long-suffering, downtrodden dude, in the sense that the name “Charlie” has been used in the past to describe average-type men, and the surname “Utter” seems to capture the way he talked. He often spoke in a sincere, unassuming, and sheepish sort of way.
