Charles Hirsch Schneer (May 5, 1920 – January 21, 2009) was an American film producer, best known for working with Ray Harryhausen, the specialist known for his work in stop motion model animation . Life and career. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he graduated from Columbia University in 1940.
