Chandpur, river port, south-central Bangladesh. It is situated at the confluence of the Dakatia and Meghna rivers. It is a major jute-shipping centre, connected by road and rail with Comilla, near the eastern border with India, and Noakhali to the southeast.

Chandpur Sadar es un subdistrito (upazila) del distrito (zila) de Chandpur, de la región de Chittagong, en Bangladés, con una población estimada en marzo de 2016 de 465 919 habitantes. [1] Se encuentra ubicado al norte de la región de Chittagong y en el centro-este del país, cerca de la confluencia de los ríos Meghna y Padma.
