Central’s Bankside Studios are located a stone’s throw from the River Thames, just around the corner from the legendary Shakespeare’s Globe.

  2. As a student on the Performance Arts course, you will: Develop your creative work by exploring a wide range of experimental performance from across art forms and cultures. Develop performance-making and critical skills to investigate, theorise and develop new theatre and performance. Use performance to critically reflect on the world.

  4. Saturday Youth Theatre (ages 6 - 17) Join us every Saturday for 9 weeks of fun-filled, practical classes, with lots of opportunities to play, create theatre and make new friends! Each week, you will explore lots of different drama techniques including improvisation, voice, and movement, devising and working with scripts.

  5. Tuition Fees and Additional Costs. For each academic year, or part of an academic year that you are enrolled, Central will charge you a tuition fee. This covers all elements of your registration, tuition and supervision. There may also be some additional course costs that you will need to budget for.

  6. Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. The students’ union exists to make life better for students and can be a big part of your experience here at Central. Run by students, the union can support all aspects of your student life. The full-time president and elected student officers represent you in shaping both union and school policy.

  7. On the Writing for Performance course, you can: Develop skills for writing for performance practices.
