1 de jul. de 2022 · As Aldrin enjoyed this celestial Communion, his actions proclaimed his belief in Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and the guarantee of His second coming. The apostle Paul encourages us to remember how Jesus sat with His disciples “on the night he was betrayed” (1 Corinthians 11:23).
Whenever and wherever we receive Communion, we are announcing our faith in the reality of Jesus’ sacrifice and our expectation of His promised second coming (v. 26). We can confidently celebrate our faith in the one and only raised and returning Savior, Jesus Christ, no matter where we are.
