Carol Reed (Londres, 30 de diciembre de 1906 – ibídem, 25 de abril de 1976) fue un director de cine inglés, conocido por sus películas El tercer hombre, El tormento y el éxtasis y el musical Oliver, por el que ganó un Óscar al mejor director.
Carol Reed was an English film director and producer, best known for The Third Man, Oliver! and other acclaimed films. He worked with Graham Greene, Orson Welles and other notable actors and writers, and served in the army during World War II.
