Carol Bruce (born Shirley Levy; November 15, 1919 – October 9, 2007) was an American band singer, Broadway star, and film and television actress. Carol Bruce was an actress who starred in Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987), American Gigolo (1980) and Behind the Eight Ball (1942). She was born in 1919, died in 2007 and had a daughter named Julie. She sang at President Franklin D Roosevelt's Birthday Ball and won the role of Julie in Show Boat (1946).
